I had my eye on an LED face light for a few months, I wasn’t sure which one to get then once I decided I waited for a sale. The first sale to pop up was the Sephora annual which worked great for me because I like the Sephora points to stay in the VIB programs for the following year. I buy my big liters of shampoo and conditioner (they last me nearly a whole year) from Sephora now, I love that they started carrying Orbie products so I can stack points. Just a good idea to buy any large purchase from Sephora if possible to get the most points!

I love to stock up on my regulars at annual sale time. My foundation was close to empty so I was happy to get a new one now on sale instead of paying full price a few weeks from now.

I have been using this powder foundation for a few years now and I’m happy with it! I honestly don’t hate it, I find it to work just as well as my preferred liquid foundation (I tried them all and had a fav – its still my fav liquid – Giorgio Armani Beauty – Luminous Silk). I always thought I would hate powder. I switched to it anyway (expecting to hate it) because a well respected esthetician I went to for a facial in Pittsburgh recommended it for people who struggle with acne. I have always struggled with acne. My acne has improved since making this change, I have also made other changes so it’s tough to pin point exactly what helped the most or if it was a combination of all my efforts. I will make a full blog post about everything Ive tried that has helped my acne someday – message me if you’re interested in seeing that!

I typically use color Fairly Medium 05 – for fair cool skin with pink undertones, which is a guess, I truly don’t understand my undertones or colors.

In the winter time when I have no color I go to Fair 01 – for very fair cool skin with pink undertones – in between seasons based off my level of tan, I mix the two.

Color 05 can look too dark on me if I don’t mix, colors 2, 3 and 4 don’t work for me because the undertones are different so mixing 01 and 05 works the best for me.

Can anyone tell me how to figure out my undertones? Looking at photos trying to pick one does not work for me.

Years ago Sephora offered a service where if you spent 50$ you could have a make up artist in the store do full face make up for you, no idea if this is still a thing or not but I did that a few times for special occasions (in Vegas the Sephora in Caesars Palace on my 21st birthday) but I guess it never crossed my mind to ask this question or if anyone told me, I don’t remember. I haven’t gotten my make up done in Sephora in years but it’s a great option to be aware of if it’s still offered. Instead of spending 100$+ on an MUA, you could buy your foundation you have to buy anyway and get a similar MUA service (similar because level of experience varies with any MUA you go to).

I grabbed a couple things Ive never tried before but have been dying to try. I was so excited to try these liquid blushes!

I ordered two colors to try, Lucky and Happy

Not really sure why I never yet tried the bronzing drops from Isle of Paradise – but I never have so now is the time. Im pale and it’s springtime, time to wear shorts and hate how white my legs look. Sounds like a great time to try these.

I got both the face drops and the body drops (they are two separate products). If your unfamiliar, you mix a drop into lotion and apply the lotion as normal but rub it in perfectly, make sure you don’t miss any spots, then it acts as a self tanning lotion but instead of using a self tanning lotion, you get to pick your preferred favorite lotion of your choice.

Last but definitely not least because I am obsessed with this product. The Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Advanced Repair Barrier Cream is the best for when your skin feels dry! I swear this fixes dry skin better & faster than anything else Ive ever tried. I randomly grabbed it in a Paris pharmacy and boy i’m glad I did. That bottle is almost empty so I grabbed a refill during this sale.

For Love & Lemons Laurel cardigan – perfect spring outfit

My Easter outfit! I envisioned this and it turned out just as perfect as I imagined! I’m happy I went for it! Figured the dress was never going to match and thought I was going to waste my time and end having to process a return for the dress but no! The dress color matches the ribbons on the sweater nearly perfect! They are super close. It would have bothered me if they weren’t an exact very close match. They are as close as could be without being a perfect match. Nearly perfect. It looks like the same color. I was so excited when I unboxed and put these two items next to each other – they were meant to be together! lol.

I wanted the For love & lemons Laurel sweater forever but I couldn’t decide between the cardigan or pull over! I went with the cardigan because the crop length looks better on me – which I could have achieved with the pull over versions (its longer) but I could of done the sports bra trick (sports bra over top the dress then tuck the sweater up and under the sports bra to make any sweater the perfect cropped length over a dress!) but ultimately I felt like ill always be wearing this sweater cropped and I felt like it looked cuter cropped with jeans and jean shorts!

I feel like this is the perfect outfit for spring! I plan to wear this again next year for either a galentines or valentines date, my boyfriend and I always go to Mediterra a few weeks before valentines because they have all the cute valentines treats – this outfit would be perfect for that! I could also wear this to Laudree’s in Paris<3 I feel like i’ll get a lot of use out of this outfit plus I’m definitely wearing the sweater all spring and summer nights!

I LOVE my Veja sneakers. I have the Campos in the color natural. They are the most comfortable and match everything! I walked miles for days all over Europe in these and my feet never hurt! The size 36 fits me fine (it’s a little big but doesn’t bother me) even though I am a size 34. As far as I know, 36 is the smallest size they make. I search for a 34 or 35 and never could find one, so I tried the 36 and it worked for me. Not always the case, usually I cant wear 36s.

I just found these adorable pink Vegas! I want these.

This is definitely a splurge and I wouldn’t typically buy a dress this expensive BUT. I was always the girl that LOVED picking dresses from cinderella ball and prom in high school (my school was so small they invited all 4 grades 9-12 go to every dance every year because it was to small of a school for them to be able to afford to rent a place for a dance if it was only seniors but for whatever reason everyone got fancy expensive dresses, ALL FOUR YEARS.) Funny to me now when I look back on it. A lot of times the girls traded with friends and bought used dresses but a lot of times myself and most girls also just bought an expensive dress. My point of this story is, and my friends remember this, I was SAD when we were seniors that I didn’t have any reason to buy expensive dresses and get all dressed up head to toe, what felt like never again until my wedding. vs. I was used to doing this twice a year. I loved it. I swear we should all get to go to an adult “prom” some type of fancy ball every year.

I was excited when I saw an opportunity to dress up like prom again. I didn’t know for sure I was getting engaged. I hoped I was but I wasn’t sure. I knew we were having a photoshoot in Paris and that was reason enough for me to wear this dress. I also planned to wear it to the Dior museum, which ended up being just as perfect as I imagined. It was a vibe. It’s such fancy vibes in the Dior galley, it felt great wearing something extra special, matching the art. The only thing better would have been wearing a Dior dress.

I now have a mission to still fit in this dress decades from now and wearing it again in Paris and recreate one of my photos, iykyk. A side by side me then and me now. My whole heart fell in love with Paris and I want to spend as much time as possible there throughout my life.

Sizing. I am wearing a 00. I was the skinniest Ive been my whole life at the time I wore this, my wait measuring about 22 inches and bust 28 inches. I am SHORT. I am 5’0 sometimes measured 4’11. If you’re tall this might look short on you. I thought the length looked perfect on me. See my photos. The most important part you need to fit exactly this is chest so it’s not sliding down or moving around. It wont move if it fits you perfectly. Mine did not move.

If you buy this dress make sure to measure yourself and check the size chart and return policy and watch the dates so you don’t miss the deadline for that if needed so you can exchange for a different size. This dress needs to fit you like a glove because my guess is it would be incredibly difficult to alter. For me, I was afraid the smallest size wasn’t going to be tight enough and I was afraid no tailor would be able to take it in. When you see it in person you’ll understand why, every inch is covered in pearls and the zipper in smack next to the pearls. It would be so hard maybe impossible to alter.

I heavily debated these being my wedding shoes. Jaden feels they aren’t white enough. They are white but somewhat cream. I decided on a different pair for my wedding shoes but I needed these to pair with my Deema pearl dress.

The details of this jacket are adorable! I love mine! They come in a bunch of colors. I want more of them. FP movement makes the cutest stuff!

I love this jacket in the cream / beige color I have. The color of mine is called Canvas. It comes it a lot of fun colors like bright pink and blue.

Everything from FP movement is just so good. Everything Ive ever gotten from them is perfect and the cutest. If I go in there store at Ross Park mall I just want to buy everything! lol

Matching Pajamas from Skims

We decided we needed a new pair of matching Christmas pajamas a few weeks before Christmas was almost all of them were sold out but luckily we found these from Skims and they are SO GOOD. Perfect for the cold winter months, the fabric is thick and warm but so soft. I have been living in these non stop – Jaden too.

We are both wearing the Fleece Sleep Unisex Sleep Set in color Cypress plaid.

I am wearing size XXS and Jaden is wearing size M. They run a little big! Which is fine and comfy for pajamas but don’t size up, if you want a baggy loose fit, just get your normal size! They will be a baggy, comfy fit at your natural size.
